Florent has over 9 years of experience in credit analysis

Florent joined Pemberton in 2017 and is a member of the Credit Analyst Team where he is responsible for analysing new investment opportunities by conducting due diligence, structuring / modelling transactions, running performance scenarios, and assigning an internal credit rating. Florent is also responsible for the ongoing monitoring and management of existing portfolio investments, including regular credit and rating reviews.

Previously, Florent worked at Moody’s Investors Service (Moody’s), where he started in 2012 as Associate Analyst in the High-Yield and Leveraged Finance team before joining the Commodities team, where he was predominantly looking at Steel, Oil & Gas and Chemicals companies.

Prior to Moody’s, Florent spent 3 years at Credit Agricole CIB (CACIB), most recently as Relationship Officer supporting a Senior Banker in the Corporate Client Coverage group in Frankfurt, Germany. Previously, Florent worked as Credit Analyst within the Global Energy Group in Houston, U.S.A. where he was doing Reserve Base Lending (RBL) for U.S. Exploration & Production companies, and as Assistant Commercial Banker within the Transaction & Commercial Banking group in Paris, France.

Florent holds a Master degree in management from the Normandy Business School, France and a Masters degree in financial engineering and financial markets from the I.U.P. banking and financial school of Caen, France.
